PLAYERS NAMED TO NATIONAL TEAMS:
Reimbursement for players, who are selected to play in a match or tour for the national team where players are eligible to receive 'caps', will be paid at a rate of $100 per player per event if matched by the player's Local Area Union. This applies to men and women, high school national team, college All-Americans or other national team, excluding those players whose travel is paid. Reimbursement does not apply to training camps.
MEMBER CLUBS HOSTING NATIONAL EVENTS:
MARFU will provide a $500 sponsorship to a member club who is hosting a National event, provided that their Local Area Union matches this amount. A National event is defined as one where a National Champion is declared.
LAUs are responsible for covering the travel of their Directors to MARFU meetings.
MARFU is responsible for covering the travel of their Executive Committee members to MARFU meetings. The MARFU Executive Committee is comprised of the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Director-at-Large.
MARFU is responsible for covering the expenses of their representatives to MARFU Events. Expense covered includes mileage and hotel (not food) and it is to come from the respective budget.
MARFU will reimbursement mileage at the current IRS standard at time of travel.
